Bibimbud Anchovy Banchan

1 tbsp Bibimbud
1/4 cup soy sauce
3 -4 tbsp honey or sugar
4-5 cloves garlic minced
1/2 cup water
2 tbsp vegetable oil or pomace olive oil
1 tbsp of toasted sesame seeds
Spring onions for garnish (optional)
Combine all sauce ingredients in a bowl. to taste. Set aside.
In a pan, over medium heat, add a bit of oil and pan-fry your anchovies.
Pour in the sauce and simmer. Turn your heat to medium-low so that the sauce won’t burn. Let it reduce until thickened. Turn off the heat and mix in the sesame seeds. Garnish with green onions and enjoy!
